This was a short article for Youthwork Magazine in the U.K.
"Sometime a few decades back we left it (the Bible) in the dust and moved on. We went after sport, did craft, hung out with the locals, built skateboard ramps, talked about problems etc. We never thought to go back to the book and find out if it said anything about what we should do with the youth in our church or those outside. Some of us are scared to use it, don’t believe it anymore, or simply feel that our target audience would never take us seriously if we opened it with them."
